My name is Beate Rothon and I am a fully qualified baby swimming teacher with many years experience. I am registered with the STA (Swimming Teachers Association) and am a member of the recently launched Starfish programme - the official Water Safety Programme for Babies of the STA.

I am a qualified NaRS Pool Lifeguard.

I run several classes in different locations in North Cornwall (including at Hustyns, near Wadebridge) the newest of which is at Chapel Amble, near Wadebridge, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.

There are others at the Camelford Sports Centre, Camelford, and at the Phoenix Sports Centre in Launceston.

I can take photographs and videos of your child either during a class or by specific appointment. In order to do this, your child needs to be happy to remain submerged under the water a number of times.

I use as few helping aids as possible and the equipment I use comprises only goggles, camera and belt so as to minimise the negative effect a fully dressed diver with large equipment might have on a child, something I have witnessed in the past.

I have also taken the photographs for Konfidence, a company producing brilliant swimming aids for children, such as wetsuits, bouncy jackets and sun protection clothing, and fully endorse their products.
I also took the photographs for the Mothercare Starfish promotion.

I have had a number of photographs used for other national promotions, including the one on the right where my photo was used on a voucher promoting swimming for babies.
